How CycleIQ Works
A plain-English guide to what the dashboard measures, how the scores are calculated, and what they do — and don't — represent.
The Signals
CycleIQ monitors up to 21 independent signals drawn from on-chain data, miner behaviour, market structure, sentiment, and derivatives positioning. Each signal measures a distinct aspect of Bitcoin market conditions.
Every live signal is scored from 0 to 100:
Signals marked Unavailable have no live data source and are excluded from all calculations.
Signal Confluence
All live signals are combined into a single weighted score — the Signal Confluence. Signals with greater historical relevance to Bitcoin cycle analysis carry higher weight. Signals showing extreme readings carry additional influence, so that a genuine capitulation or blow-off reading is not diluted by a crowd of neutral signals.
Signal Confidence
The Confidence score measures how much weight to give the Confluence score at any moment. A high Confluence reading means little if only two signals agree — Confidence captures this.
High Confidence + High Confluence = broad, strong agreement across the signal set. Low Confidence means the environment is mixed or data is incomplete — readings should be treated with more caution.
The Radar Verdict
The Radar Verdict is a plain-English summary of current signal conditions, generated automatically from live data. It updates when conditions shift meaningfully — not on every refresh — so that it reflects genuine changes rather than noise.
It is descriptive, not predictive. It tells you what the signals show right now. It does not forecast what will happen next.
A Bullish Confluence reading is not a buy recommendation. It means a majority of tracked signals are currently in constructive territory by historical standards.
A Caution reading is not a sell recommendation. It means a majority of tracked signals are in bearish territory by historical standards.
CycleIQ does not predict price movements. It describes the current state of observable market indicators. All investment decisions remain the sole responsibility of the user.
